I found a shrink wrapped Kirsten's World Map, with a booklet included called "Stepping Into Kirsten's World." It appears to be in mint condition. I tried doing a search on e-bay and the only other one was a BIN for $35 that no one bought. Any idea what it is worth? I'm trying to decide if I let my 8 year old open it, or we sell it and use the money for something she'd like better. Does anyone know if it is even something a kid would enjoy?
Thanks,
Jo

P.S. I paid $.99 for it, it's original price was $5.95

I am not sure what it is but you could probably find out more about it if you check out Curt's site that is listed in the sticky threads at the top of the message board.

I believe the maps are discontinued. I've seen them separately as it appears you purchased yours and I've seen them in the Teacher's Guides. I have a few of the maps and I like them. If it were me, I'd keep it. You can also do a search on closed auctions to see how much they sold for in the advanced search options.

I have all of the maps for the girls. I found a great deal at a used book store so was able to get them for us as well as an extra to sell.

I had ours laminated and hung them up in my dd's room as we read the dtories. They are very neat and really help you to get a feel for it kwim

The ones I sold went for 15-25ish if that helps you decide to sell or not.

HTH's and CONGRATS on your find!!

Thanks for your help. I'm letting the 8 year old decide what to do. She really loves Kirsten, and has a poster of her in her room, and could put this up. If we do decide to keep it I think I will get it laminated. I've never sold anything on e-bay, and am just not sure I want to go through the hassle.

Jo
